Rudraksha is a Sanskrit compound consisting of the name Rudra ("Shiva") and aksha ("eye"). Rudraksha grows in the area from the Gangetic Plain in foothills of the Himalayas to South-East Asia and Indonesia. Around 70% of the Rudraksha trees are found in Indonesia, 25% in Nepal and 5% in India Rudraksha seeds are covered by an outer shell of blue color when fully ripe, and for this reason are also known as blueberry beads. Rudraksha beads are botanically known as Elaeocarpus Ganitrus Roxb.
Rudraksha beads have long historical values in Hindu religion. Different mukhi Rudraksha represent different Gods such as Lord Surya, Hanuman, Vishnu, Brahma, Durga, Kartikaya and of course Lord Shiva himself. One who wears Rudraksha get blessings of all of them. Rudraksha beads never give negative energies and there is no harm in wearing them. They can be worn by anyone and the positive energy originating from them give the power, name, fame, good fortune, health, wealth etc.
We keep Rudraksha soaked in oil in our stock. It cleans Rudraksha and also improves their skin, colour and strength which increases their shelf life. When one wears them they take oil from the body naturally and help them keep their strength. It is advisable to keep them soaked in oil when Rudraksha are not used for a while.
We have two types of Rudraksha i.e. Special Fine Quality and Excellent Quality. Both these types of Rudraksha are Genuine and Pure Nepali Rudraksha. The aforesaid qualities of the Rudraksha are determined on the basis of their size and clarity of faces (Mukhas). The Special Fine Quality Rudrakshas are classified based on twin criteria of their bigger size and better clarity than the Excellent Quality Rudrakshas. Therefore, the Special Fine Quality are little costlier than the Excellent Quality. The Excellent Quality Rudrakshas are also of the best quality and you can buy them with confidence. Further, there would be no difference in results and the results would remain the same irrespective of the use of any of aforesaid two qualities of Rudrakshas.
