Rudraksha is a Sanskrit compound consisting of the nameRudra ('Shiva') and aksha ('eye'). Rudraksha grows inthe area from the Gangetic Plain in foothills of the Himalayas to South-EastAsia and Indonesia. Around 70% of the Rudraksha trees are found inIndonesia, 25% in Nepal and 5% in India Rudraksha seeds are covered by an outershell of blue color when fully ripe, and for this reason are also known asblueberry beads. Rudraksha beads are botanically known as Elaeocarpus GanitrusRoxb.
Rudraksha beads have long historical values in Hindureligion. Different mukhi Rudraksha represent different Gods such as LordSurya, Hanuman, Vishnu, Brahma, Durga, Kartikaya and of course Lord Shivahimself. One who wears Rudraksha get blessings of all of them. Rudraksha beadsnever give negative energies and there is no harm in wearing them. They can beworn by anyone and the positive energy originating from them give the power,name, fame, good fortune, health, wealth etc.
We keep Rudraksha soaked in oil in our stock. It cleansRudraksha and also improves their skin, colour and strength which increasestheir shelf life. When one wears them they take oil from the body naturally andhelp them keep their strength. It is advisable to keep them soaked in oil whenRudraksha are not used for a while.
We have two types of Rudraksha i.e. Special Fine Quality andExcellent Quality. Both these types of Rudraksha are Genuine and Pure NepaliRudraksha. The aforesaid qualities of the Rudraksha are determined on the basisof their size and clarity of faces (Mukhas). The Special Fine QualityRudrakshas are classified based on twin criteria of their bigger size andbetter clarity than the Excellent Quality Rudrakshas. Therefore, the SpecialFine Quality are little costlier than the Excellent Quality. The ExcellentQuality Rudrakshas are also of the best quality and you can buy them withconfidence. Further, there would be no difference in results and the results wouldremain the same irrespective of the use of any of aforesaid two qualities ofRudrakshas.
