I"m Busy (Boating, Drinking, Singing) I"m Busy (boating, singing, drinking) is Ray Fogg"s third CD in the past four years with his band, The Swingin" Frogs. The popular entertainer from Put-in-Bay, Ohio, the notorious Great Lakes party resort, is one of the most prolific songwriters of the area mixing acoustic island music with rock and comedy. While Ray"s 1998 CD, WAVES, featured heartfelt songs about island life and his 1999 CD, KISS MY BASS, focused on the more humorous songs heard at Ray"s live shows, this CD does double time, featuring a little of both styles. Here"s some of what you can expect from the new CD: The title song, "I"m Busy," is a great new drinking song in true Put-in-Bay tradition. Long time fans of Ray"s show will appreciate an old favorite, "The Daisy Song," which is finally making its first appearance on a Ray Fogg CD. Newer favorites such as "The Moon Song", and "Great Big Letters," which were introduced at shows last year, are included. These songs are accompanied by new gems such as "Everyone"s a "10" at 2:00", "Some Guys Golf" and "Now That We"re Sober." The titles speak for themselves on some of these tracks! As always the credits on Ray"s CD are impressive. The Executive Producer, Kevin Raleigh, enjoyed success in the 1980s and early 1990s as a singer, musician and songwriter on Atlantic Records as well as with the Michael Stanley Band. The Swingin" Frogs are comprised of first rate musicians such as Frank Romano from New York on guitar, who recently played on Jennifer Lopez"s CD. The rest of the band is Mike Crow from Ohio on bass, Kevin Raleigh on keys, and Rich Carpenter from New Jersey on drums.
